Gone Girl
As most of you know by now: “Gone Girl” is great for recently married couples.

My husband is the better chef between the two of us…but sometimes he draws inspiration from the strangest of places.

Mortgage lender appointment

Dogs
I tend to be too future-oriented for my own good.
Karl and I have been wanting a dog for awhile, but unfortunately, our current apartment complex doesn’t allow pets. Perhaps, next time we move!
Changing names, pt. 2
Coming from a family of headstrong women and also knowing no one in my family would carry our surname (I have no brothers), it took awhile for me to come to terms with the decision to carry my husband’s last name. I know I could’ve just completely kept my last name; I’m still using my maiden name for my professional endeavors (at my husband’s encouragement). The desire to feel like a cohesive unit was my number one motivator for this decision.
For me, sharing a name allows your name to be even closer to his/hers in the same space.
